The management of Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL) informs the public that it is recruiting competent, qualified and experienced staff to fill the following position:

1. HEAD PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES:

 

Key responsibilities:

 

1. Develop and monitor procurement standards, practices, procedures and utilize integrated procurement monitoring systems to enforce execution.

2. Forecast and consolidate requirements for planned procurements provided by technical entities; develop and negotiate strategies; ensure that sourcing strategies are understood and effectively utilized across technical entities.

3. Provide leadership to the department staff and Supervise and manage their performance and development in line with the Organization’s goals, objectives, policies and regulations.

 

Required Education background & Experience:

 

4. Bachelor’s degree (A0) in Procurement, Supply chain, Business Administration, Project Management, economics or a full professional qualification in Procurement and at least 8 years of experience in a procurement related role, 3 of which should be at managerial level;

 

OR

 

5. Master’s Degree in Procurement, Supply chain, Business Administration, Project Management, economics or a full professional qualification in Procurement and at least 6 years of experience in a procurement related role, 3 of which should be at managerial level.

 

2. LEGAL SPECIALIST

 

Key responsibilities

 

1. Draft and review vendor contracts and requests for proposals and confidentiality agreements for the company to ensure they are consistent and in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational risk policies.

2. Advise management and departments on appropriate legal procedures and corrective action regarding any legal related matter

3. Identify contractual and operational compliance requirements for target customer segments Reporting

4. Review, analyse and interpret state laws and regulations and advise management on the same

5. Prepare weekly and monthly unit reports to the Head of Legal Transactions.

Required Education background & Experience:

6. Bachelor’s Degree in Law with 3 years of working experience in Law related field or Master’s Degree in Law with 2 years of working experience in Law related field.

7. A diploma in legal practice would be an added value
